What the Dinosaurs Did the Night Before Christmas by Refe and Susan Tuma

The mischievous dinosaurs return in the Tuma’s newest misadventure (also recommend reading: What the Dinosaurs Did Last Night and What the Dinosaurs Did at School).

In this tale, it’s the night before Christmas, and the only ones stirring are a crew of toy dinosaurs, led by a very suspect Santa Claus. In their own unique (and typically naughty) way, they revel in the Christmas cheer, then escape via a rocket-powered sleigh. The book concludes with a pithy lesson that we all need to take to heart.

Perhaps I’m easily amused, but I still find it amazing that Refe and Susan Tuma can use the same collection of static toy dinosaurs in every picture, but still make it appear that the dinosaurs are suitably expressive to the situation around them.
