I liked the story overall. I’m a big fan of Clements’ books. The only thing that keeps me from giving this a higher rating is that I found Bobby obnoxious for much of the book. Yes, I know he’s an invisible boy going through teen angst. Anyone would be a bit cranky under those conditions. But he’s so snarky with his parents and, at times, with Alicia when they are clearly trying to be sympathetic and helpful. Towards the end of the book we do start to see some changes in his character. I just wish it started happening a bit earlier in the story.
