The answer to this is simple-I want to become an established writer. In the 21st century, blogging is one of the ways of getting one’s foot in the door, so to speak.

I must confess, however, that I am a little intimidated by the prospect of establishing my own blog. As much as I want to express myself, I also have lingering doubts as to whether I have anything worth saying.

Many people tend to focus on a particular topic for their blogs. Unfortunately, I couldn’t decide on just one. My interests are varied. Along with writing , I also enjoy history, literature, travel, sports, and theater. I’m sure at some point I will be writing about each of these topics, as well as tales from my job at a public library, my spiritual insights (such as they are), and yes, some midnight ramblings.
