I enjoyed this book (and kudos for getting a word like “ultimatum” into picture book!).

Although I’m no fan of socialism or its fellow travelers, I think it might be a little extreme to label this book as a brain-washing propaganda tool for unions. If you’re opposed to the supposed subliminal messages expounded in this book, make this a conversational springboard for your child.

Still…if your five-year-old is already grasping political concepts, then you might want to get them away from the TV and internet for awhile.
